Colorful Skies- Mt Hood and the blue sky



When I visited Columbia River Gorge, I drove a lot on I-84 along the Columbia River. And Was curious to see Mt. Hood. I went driving on Mt Hood Hwy and Mt Hood is one imposing mountain arising high above the surrounding landscape. Awe inspiring scene!

It was almost evening when I took this picture. I have heard it is an out of the world scene in the moonlight!

    This is *my* mountain....as I grew up under its watch.
    Yes, you do need to see it in the moonlight as well as in the Winter with a full coat of snow.
    Perfect in every season. You can imagine the views if you care to climb.
