Colorful Skies- Sunset at Jaisalmer sand dunes

Jaisalmer is a wild desert and vast district in the state of Rajasthan. I went on a camel ride and by the time I reached the deep inside the dunes it was sunset time! My camel decided to sit and take some rest. Hardly people were around and the sunset looked exactly like in the picture. Me, my camel and its caretaker!

It is always a fascinating experience to travel to a remote region of any country. And we happen to experience the true culture and authentic cuisine in these regions. I was in Rajasthan last year and here is my exhilarating experience in the Thar Desert! I had started this post soon after I returned but didn't happen to hit on publish until now! :)
