Waterfalls- Alamere Falls

Alamere Falls Point Reyes National Seashore

Alamere waterfalls ... one of the popular waterfalls in the San Francisco Bay area. After falling in three cascades the Alamere Creek flows into the ocean. After hiking 4.5 miles on an almost flat terrain, to see this last cascade one has to scramble down a very steep cliff. Being a popular picnic spot this waterfalls attracts bigger crowds on weekends.

National Seashore- Point Reyes, The beautiful coast

Point Reyes National Seashore Tule elk preserve

Point Reyes National Seashore is one of the gems of San Francisco bay area. Point Reyes peninsula is surrounded by the peaceful Pacific ocean. The seashore is just not a beach where one can hangout, it is an array of habitats for marine wildlife. Beaches, bays, lagoons, estuaries, tide pools and so on ... The  National Seashore was established to protect the delicate wilderness and ancient tribal culture and now it is a natural sanctuary for hundreds of plants and wildlife and also to the human spirit. The seashore offers long stretches of sandy beaches, hiking trails many other recreational activities. One of my favorite places where I went looking for photo-opportunities, inspiration and solitude!

Colorful Skies- The popular Point Reyes Boat

Point Reyes National Seashore is one of the gems of California. The whole peninsula area is beautiful and a popular tourist destination. Whole area is surrounded by Pacific ocean and one can hear the thunderous waves all the time. The small place called Inverness is on the banks of Tomales Bay. And there is this abandoned boat behind the grocery stores. On one of the trips I saw this beautiful sky in the evening. And this was the pic :)
