Grotta Azzurra or Blue Grotto in Capri- Amazing sea cave!

Grotta Azzurra or Blue Grotto Capri Italy
That small opening is the entrance of Blue Grotto

Do you see that blue?! The picture is not edited for color saturation! It is real! In the earlier post I mentioned that I had taken a boat ride around the Island of Capri, it included a peek into the popular Blue Grotto for few extra euros. And it was worth all the money! Sea caves are not new to me, I had rowed into few sea caves earlier in my life, but this one was wonderful! The blue color is due to the underwater light source, essentially an underwater sea cave!

Oceanscapes- The deep blue ocean

Hawaii Punaluu Black sand beach Kona Coast
Hawaii beaches are amazing! You will find white sand, black sand, black pebbles, volcanic rocks and whatever you think of :) Well, sand beaches were crowded so I thought of shooting here. The solidified volcanic flow made a nice foreground.

Oceanscapes- Hazy Horizon

Redwood National Park, in northern California coast is very diverse. Not only the coast redwoods, but plenty of wildlife, birdlife, ocean views are also speciality here. Only you should be ready to drive on a steep winding roads, at times on unpaved roads too! This is a view from Klamath River Overlook which is about 650ft above the ocean. You see the mouth of Klamath River where it merges with Pacific Ocean after a journey of about 250miles from Cascade mountains in Oregon.

Oceanscapes- Ocean waves at Natural Bridges

Well, there is not much of sky in this picture, but have full reflection of the sky and its colors! I was at one of the beaches in Santa Cruz and the sunset seemed dull. I thought of taking a walk along the beach and then I saw this particular wave pattern on the wet sand. The waves arrived at the shore but strangely moved sideways before returning to ocean! I stopped and waited if that pattern repeats ... yes! It did repeat! And here is the picture I took.
